Redeem Flight Awards on Hawaiian Airlines

Flight awards on Hawaiian Airlines can be redeemed in one of three ways: online, by telephone, or at the airport ticket counter.

Book Awards Online for Free. To use your HawaiianMiles for Hawaiian Airlines tickets, please view the Flight Award Chart and login to book an E-Award online. There are no service fees for award tickets redeemed via the Hawaiian Airlines website. ** Members are responsible for all applicable security fees and/or taxes.
Call Reservations. You can also call Hawaiian Airlines Reservations and tell the agent you would like to make a reservation for a HawaiianMiles E-Award. HawaiianMiles E-Award tickets redeemed through Hawaiian Airlines Reservations will be charged a $15.00USD fee for Interisland awards and a $25.00USD fee for all other destinations per passenger (exceptions noted below). ** Members are responsible for all applicable security fees and/or taxes.

Exceptions

Hawaiian Airlines will waive award redemption fees for itineraries that have connections to/from Molokai, Lanai, or Kapalua, Maui.
No fees will be charged for awards redeemed via HawaiianAirlines.com
No fees will be charged for redeeming First Class upgrade awards.

Book Awards at the airport. Award tickets that are redeemed at Hawaiian Airlines airport ticket counters (ATOs) will be charged a $35.00USD fee. The exceptions listed above also apply.

Upgrades

To redeem your HawaiianMiles for First Class upgrades on Hawaiian Airlines, please call Hawaiian Airlines Reservations. No fees are charged to redeem upgrade awards. The full amount of HawaiianMiles needed must be in member account at the time of redemption. Seats will not be held pending additions to mileage balance. First Class upgrades are subject to availability.

Booking Combined Dollar/Mileage Travel

New! If you would like to book a trip in which you redeem HawaiianMiles for one way and pay for the other, now you can. Just log in to your account, then visit the booking tool, and select 'Miles' in one direction and 'Dollars' in the other direction. You must be logged in to view this option.

Purchasing HawaiianMiles

Short on miles? You can purchase HawaiianMiles while booking your E-Award if you do not have the required miles in your account. A screen will display during the booking process that offers this option to you. You may also call Hawaiian Airlines Reservations to purchase miles. HawaiianMiles can be purchased in 500-mile increments at a cost of $0.03 USD per mile plus 7.5% Federal Excise Tax.

Redeem HawaiianMiles for Partner Flight Awards
(Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Virgin Atlantic)

To redeem your HawaiianMiles for awards on our Airline partners, first view the Airline Partner Award Chart.

To inquire about an Airline Partner award, contact the HawaiianMiles Service Center at 1-877-426-4537. Please allow 21 days advance notice for fulfillment and provide details on the award you want and when you want to use it. Seats are limited and awards are based on availability. There are no service fees to redeem partner awards. Partner airline awards are booked on a round-trip basis. Some restrictions apply.** Members are responsible for all applicable security fees and/or taxes.

Redeem HawaiianMiles for Non-flight Awards

Redeem your HawaiianMiles for hotel gift certificates, car rentals, and more. For details, please view the Non-Flight Award chart.

To redeem Partner Awards, contact the HawaiianMiles Service Center at 1-877-426-4537, or by mail at HawaiianMiles Service Center - Partner Awards, P.O. Box 30008, Honolulu, HI, 96820. Include a letter detailing the award you would like, when you plan to use the award, and a current phone number so we may call to verify your request.
