SPECIAL REGULATIONS FOR PETS TRAVELING TO HAWAII

Certificates
Hawaiian Airlines requires all live animals shipped or carried into the State have health certificates dated within ten days of travel.

Hawaii's Animal Quarantine Laws
Hawaii is a rabies free state. Hawaii's quarantine law is designed to protect residents and pets from potentially serious health problems associated with the presence and spread of rabies.

  2. 1      Pets entering the state of Hawaii are not permitted in the cabin and must be checked as baggage or sent through Hawaiian Air Cargo.
  3. 2.       Pets must arrive into Honolulu due to quarantine requirements, therefore, Hawaiian cannot accept pets on non-stop flights to Maui.
