Hawaiian Airlines Interisland Flights

World-renowned for friendly and convenient service, Hawaiian Airlines' fleet of Boeing B-717 jets provides daily service between 5 destinations on four Hawaiian Islands. Through our Honolulu hub, visitors and residents alike can enjoy interisland air travel each day to Maui, Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii (Kailua-Kona and Hilo).

In fact, Hawaiian Airlines has been the "Wings of the Islands" for more than 70 years. A pioneer of aviation in the Pacific, Hawaiian Airlines started business in 1929 as Inter-Island Airways Ltd. On November 11 of that year, thousands gathered at Honolulu's John Rodgers Airport to witness the departure of Hawaii's first scheduled flights between islands: Inter-Island's inaugural flights to Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii.

Hawaiian now flies more than 165 interisland flights each day. For the last eight consecutive years, we've been rated one of the "10 Best" U.S. airlines by readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine, and Travel & Leisure magazine readers have voted us in the Top Ten for the past four years. Onboard Services magazine even presented Hawaiian with its highest honor, the Diamond Award, for our Mea Ho`okipa (hospitality) service on interisland flights.
